Amonium Nitrate (AN)

Product characteristics

  • Total Nitrogen (N): 34,0 – 34,4% min.
  • Ammonium Nitrogen (N): 34,0 – 34,4% min.
  • Granulometry (1-4 mm): 95% min.

Ammonium nitrate contains 50 % nitric nitrogen, which allows the plant to absorb the nitrogen fast and efficiently.

Ammonium nitrate is a granular or prilled fertilizer, containing 33.5% or 34.0 % or 34.4 % nitrogen. It is produced through an acid-based reaction of ammonia with nitric acid. AN is a Class 5.1 hazardous substance. In some countries it is used restrictive or strictly prohibited because of the danger of explosion. Russia represents the biggest country of production worldwide.

UREA

Product characteristics

  • Nitrogen: 46% min.
  • Biuret: 1,0% max.
  • Moisture: 0,5% max.
  • Granulometry prilled (between 1 – 4 mm): 90% min.
  • Granulometry granular (between 2 – 4 mm): 90% min.

Urea is soluble in water and its most common use is as a fertilizer in the agriculture.

As a fertilizer with 46% nitrogen, all in amide form, urea is the most concentrated nitrogen fertilizer. Urea is produced in prilled or granular form. The advantage of the granular urea is the more uniform size distribution, which ensures even spread of the product on the field.

Automotive Grade Urea (AGU)

Urea ammonium nitrate solution (UAN)

Product characteristics

  • Total Nitrogen (N): 32%
  • Ammoniacal Nitrogen (N): 8%
  • Nitrate Nitrogen (N): 8%
  • Ureaic Nitrogen: 16%

Urea ammonium nitrate solution, commonly referred to as UAN, is a liquid nitrogen fertilizer which is made up of a mixture of urea, ammonium nitrate and water.

Nitrogen is the most important nutrient for crop production. Nitrogen fertilizer is responsible for the production of amino acids and proteins and indirectly supports the production of vitamin B. Nitrogen application is the main factor to improve plant growth, development and yield of all crops. The plant takes the nitrogen from the soil in form of nitrate (NO3) nitrogen through their roots. The nitrate which consists of nitrogen (N) and oxygen (O) presents a form of nitrogen which moves freely in the soil and is readily available for the plant uptake, which is different from other forms of nitrogen in the soil.

Ammonium sulfate (AS)

Product characteristics

  • Total Nitrogen (N): 21,0% min.
  • Ammonium Nitrogen (N): 21,0% min.
  • Sulphur (S): 24,0% approx.

Ammonium sulphate provides the plant with nitrogen and sulphur at the same time, and due to that enables the plant to have a very high growth and yield.

Ammonium sulphate (AS) is a granular or crystalline, in general white nitrogen fertilizer, containing 21,0% nitrogen and 24,0% sulphur. Because AS contains 100% ammonium nitrogen it guarantees a long-term and sustainable nitrogen supply. Furthermore it prevents the nitrogen from being washed out of the soil. In addition, AS supports the availability of secondary nutrients like manganese, iron, and boron in the soil. AS is generated as a by-product from the caprolactam production.

Calcium ammonium nitrate (CAN)

Product characteristics

  • Total Nitrogen (N): 27,0% +/- 0,8%
  • Nitrate Nitrogen (N): 13,5%
  • Ammonium Nitrogen (N): 13,5%
  • Also available with: Sulphur, Calcium
  • Granulometry (2-5mm): 90-95% min.

Calcium ammonium nitrate is a white, grey or brown fertilizer which supplies the plants with nitrogen.

Calcium ammonium nitrate (CAN) is a granular or prilled fertilizer, containing 27% nitrogen. The combination of ammonium nitrogen and nitrate nitrogen makes CAN an universal and excellent fertilizer, which guarantees an optimal nitrogen supply for all plants. The high lime content of the fertilizer considerably improves the fertility of the soil, and therefore increases the growth and yield of the plants.

Ammonium sulfate nitrate (ASN)

Product characteristics

  • Total Nitrogen (N): 26,0% +/- 0,8%
  • Ammonium Nitrogen (N): 18,5%
  • Nitrate Nitrogen (N): 7,5%
  • Sulphur (S): 13,0% +/- 0,36%
  • Granulometry (under 1 mm): 1,0% max.
  • Granulometry (2-5 mm): 90% min.

Ammonium sulphate nitrate (ASN) is a beige fertilizer which due to its simultaneous supply of nitrogen and sulphur considerably improves the fertility of the soil, and therefore increases the growth and yield of the plants.

Ammonium sulphate nitrate (ASN) is a granular nitrogen fertilizer with a nitrogen content of 26% and an additional sulphur content of 13%. Because ASN contains a high ammonium nitrogen content it furthermore guarantees a long-term and sustainable nitrogen supply, and prevents the nitrogen from being washed out of the soil. In addition, ASN supports the availability of secondary nutrients like manganese, iron, and boron in the soil.
